Arts and Crafts

to the Third Annual Harpswell Festival, By the Bay!
First of all, let me thank those who have been patiently waiting for
this application. There are some changes this year, so please read
carefully.
• Emphasis will be placed on the arts. Therefore, it is required that all
goods sold are the creative work of the applicant. If your business
purchases goods for re-sale, we may be able to place you in an alternate
section of the festival. Please contact Susan (see below). Non-profits will
be located in another section as well.
• Cost remains $35 for a 10' x 10' space, however, the fee will now only
be waived for those volunteering a minimum of four hours (clean-up of
field, set-up, or otherwise). We regret that we can no longer offer a free
booth to those who do demonstrations of their craft. There may be exceptions
for those who offer a take-home project for festival attendees. Again,
please contact Susan with questions. Basically, the festival committee needs
either help or funds to operate. Thank you for understanding.
• Hours of arts and crafts area are 11am - 5pm.
• Set-up is 7:30am - 10:30 am. Booths must be set-up by 10:30am and
vehicles removed. Late arrivals will forfeit their spot and fee.
• Take down is 5:00pm - 6:00pm. No early break-down or departure.
• The arts and crafts area has been moved to a cemented area. Please
plan accordingly. There will be a few grassy spaces available if need for
booth set-up. Please indicate if needed on the application.
• You will be able to drive your cars or trucks near but not up to your
space. Vehicles will need to be parked in designated areas. Shuttles will be
operating throughout the day.
• There will be no electricity or water available in the arts and crafts
area.
• This is a rain or shine event. A covering is recommended but not provided.
In case of rain, no refunds will be made, though the show will go on!
And finally, application dead-line is June 9th!! Please do not be
late if you plan on being a part of this year's festival. If you have any
